I’ve always really loved the Superstar—I must have bought seven or eight pairs over the years. Once, when my mom visited, she even asked why I had so many of the same shoes (laughs), which just shows how much I adore them. The classic shell-toe silhouette, paired with how effortlessly they match with any outfit, makes them one of my go-to sneakers.
The updated Superstar II keeps the iconic look but brings plenty of improvements: the once-stiff sole has been replaced with a thicker EVA midsole, making it much more comfortable to walk in; the tongue is also slightly padded, giving better proportions when worn with baggy pants or cropped trousers, making it even more in line with today’s fashion trends.
This pair actually arrived a while ago, but we never managed to get photos we were satisfied with. As a result, they were almost sold out before we even posted about them. Right now, there are still a few pairs in stock—if you’re interested, come try them on. Once you put them on, you’ll understand.
